This past Saturday we got to go to the zoo with Papa! Enterprise (where he works) was having their summer party for employees there this year. We were able to go for free and also enjoy some food and fun with Papa! Enterprise had a big portion of the zoo blocked off for the party right next to the Asian Elephants. When we first got to the tent area the kids were able to pick out a hat that had some animals on them. Drew chose a cute Monkey hat, and Nicolas chose a Tiger "mask"/hat. He was convinced that it was a mask and not a hat because he could pull it down over his face. It was pretty funny and cute to see him try and walk around with it pulled over his eyes! After getting the hats we went and found a spot to sit and relax before the food came out. We had not eaten lunch because we knew we would be eating there, so everyone was starving! Drew was getting cranky and all of us were stalking the catering company just watching for the food to arrive! When the food came out, Papa went up to one of the workers and asked if we could go ahead and fill our plates! I think after the way we were all staring at them, they were scared to say no! We were first in line and ran through there like we had never eaten before! After devouring our lunch, we went to get the kids face painted and they also had a couple big ice cream coolers with popsicles and fudge bars which we were happy to partake of!
After leaving the Enterprise party we saw some more animals, took more pictures, fought with the kids about buying something (or not buying something I should say), and called it a day as the zoo was closing! About 10 minutes into the drive home, both kids were out and slept the rest of the way home. Just in time for me to get home and get them right into bed! Stan was in Utah so anytime I can get the kids to bed without a fight, it is a great night!
So we had a great time and want to say thank you to Papa for inviting me and the kids to enjoy your work party and for spending the day with us at the zoo! We hope you had as much fun as us!

Well, it doesn't look like you guys are bored any longer! I loved the painted faces. You guys are having fun, that's great!
so cute T! love that it was an Enterprise party-I used to work there too...brings back some memories! You all look great and happy...hope to see you soon!
